1. Open the fishing log (regional). Individual fish do not appear.
2. All discovered fishing holes appear as completed, even when they are not
This is the same bug that has been reported
here, but moved to Insufficient Information. I hope this provides further information, specifically that has occurred on PS5 so is not restricted to PC.
There is also a Reddit thread here by another payer with screenshots which match my experience.
Please be advised, as it might help, that I reached lv100 FSH, then took a break from Fishing and finished the MSQ and the Wachumeqimeqi questline and have come back to Fishing after a week or so and noticed this.
It makes Fishing content unplayable for those afflicted. I would be very grateful if you could look into it further.
