- Amount of damage is not corrected properly when characters are equipped with two-handed weapons.

- TP of Beastmaster's pet continues to decrease while its not engaged in battle.

- Automaton's status is lower than it is supposed to be.

- Under certain combinations of Head and Frame, Automaton will try to cast spells continuously.

EDIT: [For 2H Update] Saw a note in regards to the Japanese version of this, basically stating that they were revising the upper limits. Still not exactly sure what that means in the end.

Yeah, I noticed after the update that I had to mess with my resting macro to get it too equip Errant Hpl. I felt a little silly looking back and forth between my macro screen and my equipment screen trying to figure out if something had magically become misspelled.

Oh... pups are going to be ticked when this gets fixed. Everyone was excited about how fast the Harlequin head plus Stormwaker body was casting. I hadn't gotten a chance to try it yet, but it was supposed to cast at 1 second intervals instead of the more usual 20+.

Yeah, it is really quick. I tested it out last night, and Zero went through all of his enfeebles in a matter 10 seconds. I actually gained a level pretty quickly by soloing Tough Scorps in Crawler's Nest. I was almost invincible as my puppet fully enfeebled the mob and spammed cures on me non-stop.

Also, I encountered another issue which I reported to a GM, but don't see it on the list. I dropped a Sattva Ring in an attempt to get my Rajas back. It had been about 2 months since my last exchange, so I figured I'd be good. So I drop it, check the Marble Bridge for my replacement, get the cutscene... But at the end of the cutscene, there was no option to choose a new ring. When I checked the door again, it just said I couldn't enter the store. So I zone to Batallia, and re-zone into Upper Jeuno to check the door a third time. I now get the message saying that I have to wait 27 days for a new ring =\ After contacting a GM, I got my Sattva back. But I still have to wait 3+ weeks for my Rajas =(
 
I'd better check out my pup when I get on tonight. The skill caps were supposed to rise, and it would be much easier to cap magic skill if my puppet is casting once a sec than if it's on the normal timer....

They didn't fix this all yet did they? Is there still time to enjoy a nice long weekend with the game in it's current state?

(This reminds me of the Bodkin Arrow patch)
 
somehow i bet the 2h-weapons will not have the amount of damage they are doing be increased when they fix the calculation method.
 
Yeah, everyone hurry up and get your high dmg numbers so we can point and laugh that you got it when ffxi was broken.
 
Seems to me they'll do something about the pDIF cap... atm its incredibly easy to hit the 'upper limit' the JP version might be referring to, the pDIF cap, without a critical hit.. What this basically means is that a critical hit won't do more than a regular hit, which is kinda lame <_< Most likely they'll lower what a regular hit caps at (i.e. making the max hit for a 2H 2.0 (like 1H atm, right?) or 2.5 pDIF, and leave crit at 3.0 (or lower it to 2.5) to lower max dmg a bit, and leave room for critical attack dmg increase.

At least, I hope that's what they do.
 
Honestly If I just don't do any less damage than I did before the update, the new weapon skill pDIF changes stick, and STR=attk + DEX=acc stays, I don't care.
