第四境界(DAI4KYOKAI) are a big ARG production company over in Japan that have been in operation since 2024 though working in the field since 2018. As far as game collaborations go, they first did an event promoting 'Silent Hill f' at Tokyo Game Show 2025, and much more recently it was announced they would be working with Square Enix on a special installation in the 'PARANORMASIGHT' mystery/horror visual novel series, which it seems like has turned into a very close partnership now that they're also working on a special game for Final Fantasy XIV at its biggest event.

Edda's Bag is of course themed around content from FFXIV including The Tam-Tara Deepcroft (Hard) and it is noted that aspects of the experience will aim for relatively that same level of Spook as the dungeon and its related content has. To enjoy the experience in full it is recommended to complete the quest and subsequent scenes/quests featuring this dungeon.

Alongside a two-day FanFest pass, to play you will need to purchase an experience pass for this specific event, either a Standard Ticket (4,400yen) or a Party Ticket (11,000yen), to be bought either in advance or at the venue. It is noted that a Party Ticket, supporting up to four people, will only provide one bag for the experience. They also encourage solo players with Standard Tickets to optionally team up and work together.

Similar to how their Silent Hill f experience was later compiled with all puzzle and story elements into a physical book you can play through, Edda's Bag is currently already planned to be adapted to an online playable game available to the public at a later date, so Please Look Forward To It.

disclaimer: you probably won't really die irl
