EU Fan Fest Feedback: Male miqo'te eye markings

In today's keynote at the European Fan Fest, it was shown that there would be toggles for different races to remove specific traits. One of the slides was titled "miqo'te war paint" and it featured a male miqo'te having the markings below the eyes removed.

My understanding has always been that those markings are not painted but biological, similar to the ones cheetahs have. They are male exclusive and meant to darken with age.

The war paint for male miqo'te is found on the nose, cheeks, corner of the eyes and forehead and optional or not depending on face type and clan.

While some may welcome the option, letting players remove the male eye markings would be akin to what happens when ears and tails get removed when wearing certain gear: it undermines those racial traits.

What I was expecting to see for miqo'te was the ability to choose whether to have darkened ear tips or not regardless of haircut as well as their pattern and potentially even color.

Broadly speaking I was also hoping for more beard options; choosing the color of eyebrows, tails and hair independently; tail accessories; or ideally a graphical improvement of bodies themselves (alongside miqo'te ears and older haircuts).

Essentially, changes that would preserve and enhance already existing racial traits and not what we saw today. I find it as bad as giving dilated pupils to everyone (shown at the NA Fan Fest), as this takes away an exclusive feature of Moon Keeper miqo'te.

To anyone else reading, what do you think about this?
