Since we are basically done clears and the glass price droped and sponsors are going to start sponsoring again. Was wondering what people prefered to do. Basically would you rather recieve currency or gil? If the pick is gil will just sell everything over 300 currency and split in gil. Or you can just get the split in coins after the run and you have to worry about selling unless you wanted to keep the coins for some reason. Would rather not do both as that makes things harder to keep track of. So pick what you would rather do.
 
Overall, of the people lotting money there are a lot more that are not upgrading than those that are, so gil makes the most sense.

Plus once we finish up some of the current relics people are welcome to step and keep the sponsors going. We could also start a LS fund with the currency once some of the current relics clear out. Be pretty easy to fit the LS with some K clubs and other stuff that way. That is a long ways off though and we will cross that bridge when we come to it.
 
Honestly, I'd rather gil. If we go back to currency, the "gil" sellers will all be in Rolanberry--competing with each other. This ensures that the "sale" gets taken care of (though it does drop it back on one individual--and we appreciate that individual) and people get their cut.

Those who want currency for other uses (AF/whatever) can take their gil and buy it back--they may even make some if people are selling cheap that day in the Fields.
 
I'm definitely in favor of making it gil instead of currency. Ehon's exactly right; if you want currency, you can always convert back (and you can find good deals if you try). Gil is more convenient for everyone else.
 
This also eliminates the problem of handing out a certain number of "currency" in zones that have more than one type, since they are not all worth the same amount.

I don't know if I get a say since I'm still an invitee.... but I'm lazy, I like someone else selling the currency and then handing me gilz
 
I was thinking sponsors should probably get more then 300? help finish faster...
maybe they keep a %? like 70-75% or something

This is being looked in to. Decision will be made based on the post-update currency numbers from September and should be in effect by October.
