You're going around to the 3 major cities, trying to figure out what Grand Company you'll be a part of, and these brats keep popping up out of nowhere.
Alphinaud is busy running his mouth about some random trivia about that particular city, and Alisaie is ALWAYS looking off screen at something, never saying a word. And why the hell are they dressed exactly alike?
Who in their right mind would trust these kids? They positively reek of trouble!
At least, that was my initial reaction to them. In fact, I was skeptical of Alphy up until the Crystal Brave fiasco. And since Alisaie was completely absent from the MSQ up until the lead up to StB, it did take me awhile to warm up to her, especially with what we saw her doing before crawling into Ishgaurd on the brink of death (in fact, I was curious if she was even still alive come Heavensward. Mind you, I had completely skipped the Bahamut quest line. Going back to clear them, and see a "young" Alisaie is a bit shocking to say the least).
Seeing them both now be their own characters, instead of being odd copies of each other just goes to show how awesome the writing has become for this game. Now that I've been through thick and thin with both of them, and watched them both grow, I'd easily trust them with my life.
All of the Scions are quite close, but I don't think there's a better relationship than the WoL and the twins. They're closest thing we'll ever get to having kids of our own in this game.
