Details for the maintenance schedule will be released once they become available.

[Important Update Details]
- Addition of "Pankration."

- Adjustment on the accuracy of weapon skills "Guillotine" and "Penta Thrust."

The following issues will be addressed:
- Monster ability statistics are lower than intended.

- Ability statistics of Automatons and Pets are lower than intended.

- Graphic of Goblin Bounty Hunter continues to appear even after it is defeated.

- Players are unable to correctly enter Hazhalm Testing Grounds when checking the "Entry Gate" without a "Glowing Lamp" in their possession.

- All random number calculations for damage amounts are not being calculated properly.

- Amount of damage is not being corrected properly when characters are equipped with two-handed weapons.

- Both the attack and accuracy of monsters equipped with two-handed weapons are higher than intended.

- The TP of beastmaster's pets slowly continues to decrease while they were not engaged in battle.

- Attachments do not function properly when Automatons have both "Stealth Screen" and "Optical Fiber" attached.

- Automaton continues to cast magic on player characters that are KO'd.

- Under certain combinations of heads and frames, Automatons will try to cast spells continuously.

- When a "Chocobuck Slip" and Chocobucks are both traded, players may be able to carry more than the maximum allowed Chocobucks.

- When "Tandjana Wildgrass" is used during the Chocobo Hot and Cold Game, the cursor pointing to the treasure chest will not appear if the cancel button is pressed at a specific time.

- Item icons do not appear in the Delivery Box. (Xbox 360 version only)

- Macros might not function depending on how the name of certain items are included.
* To avoid this issue, please enter item names either in abbreviated format or by using the auto-translate function.

- When entering text commands, shortcuts such as "<t>" will not function properly if a phrase using quotation marks (') is included.

YAY! They're fixing the problem with 1handers and MNKs! And lolat2hnerf my ass this is a nerf. 20 gil says they do MORE damage normally and that Penta/Guillo are less accurate.
 
So this means I have until the 10th to do some hardcore meriting with the 2HD users still, right? The little party last night was approaching times where 24k+ an hour was the current number, lol. They took my newb COR and capped out it's XP and gave it an additional 2 merits in overflow!

I'll stay the course until the 10th and try to figure out what happened again, lol.
 
Man, 75drk with at least decent gear to merit in, AND I CANT GET A FUCKING PARTY TO EVEN TRY OUT ANY DAMAGE.

lol that's the problem. when this came about, everyone dusted off their WAR, DRK or DRG to go out and merit with.
 
I've never put away my drk, I just...don't get to do much because I always seem to be the only bard in the fucking game.

We had DRG SAM NIN RDM BRD COR last night and were destroying mamool faster than any Ridillberk'd WAR I've ever seen. The DRGs of the world had better merit every last category they have in the next 4 days before they go back to lolDRG merit parties on lesser colibri.
 
All these people shouting "Nerf it! It does too much!" need to wake up and actually try things for themselves instead of listening to hearsay. It's nothing amazing aside from extreme cases and obviously Penta-thrust, and the only reason it seems so spectacular at the moment is because ALL damage is currently broken and is relying on weapon base DMG vs. pDIF only. 100%TP WS are doing the exact same damage as they would with 300%TP and that's why the weapon skills seem so insane. I did some testing today for reference after the patch, I will be doing the exact same thing after the patch to compare damage and see what they changed in the "nerf". I'm posting the pre-update damage here for all to see and I'll post the post-update damage after it happens.
Personally, I believe the update will be fixing the problem with DMG vs. pDIF which will fix 1h and H2H damage problems that are occurring currently and will, sorry to say to all you pissed off MNKs or pessimists, actually raise the damage that 2h weapons can do in regards to the criticals, because with the current formula as it is now all a critical does is guarantee that you hit the maximum possible damage, it does not actually apply an additional modifier to the base hits as it should. This is also present in 1h weapons but is less obvious due to the differences in stats and application after the patch. Now as for weapon skills, look forward to seeing the exact same damage you are seeing now with 300%TP and less with 100%TP.
