Dagger Fragment

Ok so last night I got a tell from someone named Kabady. He said knows a few ultima members. He is very close to finishing off relic dagger but still needs the fragment. If he is friends with some ultima members I don't have any problems helping. But also want to see how everyone else feels about it. Personally I like killing animated weapons. Kinda get a sense of satisfaction when you see that fragment in the pool even if it is going to some else.

So do we help Kabady or not? And if we do do we need something to happen on his end. Thoughts?
 
If he is telling the truth about being a friend of some people here I would be happy to help with his fragment. I personally have seen him around but have never talked to him.

If he does not plan to keep coming though, and this is just a one time thing so he can get his fragment, I would say he should not be able to lot AF or money.
 
I remember the name, not much else. I've got nothing bad or good to say about this character/person.

We helped people all the time in DX, but that was DX. Helping people with Amitlu should be on a case by case basis. IMHO

They didn't lot & they brought TP wings and/or poison pots to pass around.
 
Don't know this guy, but short of turning into "we are the freebie fragment ppl", I'd vote for:

1. He pays for the run.
2. He lots his fragment only.
3. He provides a TP wing for every non-mage, and 2 poison pots for every person.
4. If it is a failure, such is life, he's welcome to fund another attempt.

If you think about it, <600k is a steal for mercing a fragment.

DX had helped him get his Attestation. He had actually sent me a tell to ask for help with Fragment. I had told him DX was no longer running but that he could try asking Heie or Yels but was not sure if it was something they would do.

Definitely don't think he should be able to lot AF2/Money.

Not as sure about whether he should have to cover the whole cost of the run, it's not like the sponsor wouldn't still do well on currency. I'd say like 1/2 the cost or something. But that's up to you guys.
 
Isn't he in Wizardry and JP?

And I remember helping get the attestation over a year ago, don't think I saw him at DX after that.
 
He's in Wiz, I remember him at countless camps when we did HNM. Never had a problem directly with him, never mpk'd or made himself "notorious" like brys etc.

I'd say if he agrees to all fodder said, then we might as well help him get his frag. Basically a free run for everyone else lotting af/money, so why the shit not.
 
That's the rdm/nin and various other jobs Wiz JP member. He was part of the steal attempt on the unicorn a while back from us.
