Lorewise, I mean. I don't even mean marraige, specifically. Just, could an NPC theoretically be soul bonded to the WoL and use that to travel either from the First or back to it? I haven't actually done the eternal bonding ceremony myself, but the bondmates can teleport to each other, right?
So, if we bonded our souls to Ryne or Thancred for example, then went to the other shard, they could follow us there, attune to at least one aetheryte, and then be able to go back and forth?
In fact, Feo Ul is kind of doing a version of this, isn't she? She tells us to hurry up with the contract so she can "see this world of yours", so she must be able (or was, before becoming King maybe changed things) to check out the Source beyond appearing in peoples' dreams.
