First off, this is Lastingfear(LF). I just heard what happened from some old FF players in WoW over on Kargath, and I wanted to extend my condolences. Even though I know a couple of your members downright block my existence out, I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

I hope that all goes well in the recovery.
 
I've been away from the game for awhile (I still get to play about once a month), and I heard about this whole mess. I usually stay away from message boards and the drama, but considering the situation I thought it would be appropriate to post here. Although, our Linkshells were rivals, and we didn't always see eye-to-eye. I'm sorry to hear what happened to your accounts, and hope you countinue playing either on Leviathan or back "home" in Valefor.

It was a pretty crappy thing for anyone to do on the premise of shits and giggles.

I tend not to read free forums as they tend to make my eyes bleed so I didn't hear about it till Soj mentioned it in an xp on monday or something. After observing Taj on two sepreate threads I was told to go and read in the past it was pretty obviously his MO, kinda ticked I didn't go to the thread this time till yesterday and after wading through 37 brain numbing pages thread was locked before I could bitch anyone out, since there was plenty to go on in the first page alone to say it as him.

I was particularly ticked that it didn't seem anyone at all from Ultima pointed any fingers at Taj and behaved remarkabley well in the face of blatant stupidity... and had a vast number of retards from other servers saying Ultima was blaming Taj.

I hate internet people.

It's a tribute to how desperate folks are for heros they gloss over his actions and try to frame them in heroic perspective.

I only ever heard of him when I read that thread on him discovering some charcter to dc people and used it on fishbots, a besieged, anyone who he felt like, and then tried to get a GM to materialize so he could do it to them too. It was abundantly clear he did it cause he could and wated kudos, and he didn't care about gear, he didn't care about being banned. Hell I think he was leveling some new character after having had a few banned while doing that. People trumpeted him for going to battalia and dcing fishbots and seemed to ignore everything else. I mean hell I may go on a shooting spree some day and cap off a serial killer in addition to anyone else I thought look deserving of a gram of lead, not gonna make me some hero for killing one person who really deserved it among all the others.

I don't even know much about that crap he had with you, only other thing I read by him was Wikia crap lately where it was again pretty obvious he does shit cause he can. Deserving folks admittedly and I dont' mind them being exposed. Hell, wish more people would dig for truth these days rather than taking easy given answers. If people are afraid folks will find out they did something, pretty big clue they shouldn't have done it in the first place. Still the folks same folks applauding him for digging for the truth were the same ones reluctant to do it themselves when Taj went of the rails.

Guy doesn't care about gear, so doesn't mess with gear, guy who's interested in laughs and doesn't give a crap about repurcussions gives obviously stolen characters pearls to his own linkshell with easily refferenced names, guy who doesn't bother to defend himself with anything but crap statements cause he doesn't take it seriously.

The whole where's his motive and frame job crowd watch too much TV.
