Close Invitees?

Pat's old PC has 1 fps in dynamis. It's like watching a very very slow slide show of screenshots. To reduce lag, he turns off all filters, all effects (though that needs done before you zone), and reduces the screen settings to the most amazing NES graphics.

That being said, I'm happy with our current numbers, we're clearing DynamisLord, we're doing northlands, we have enough to get decent currency in cities, and although the competition for AF is stiffer, I'd rather take the stiffer competition and keep dynamis alive because, y'know... sponsors don't run as high a risk of coming out of it with ~100 coins, because 18 people showed.

Anyway, I've played on all three before. Right now PC, and in particular this run I run on Laptop. Ironically, my Laptop does better than the PC. It's much newer I suppose. I normally get no lag whatsoever whether I run a wireless or wired connection. Today I was in a bad mood and saw people dying before I could do much about it. But that's just dynamis. I guess I'll just deal with the lag. Currency for sponsors >>> everything else I suppose, but only in Amitlu :D

Edit: Except, seriously, what's the signup sheets for?

The signup is more for schedule than anything.

If we get full for cop runs then signup threads hold priority on entrance as well.

Now that we have a solid core of regulars, they aren't used much for things other than late arrival info etc

Yeah what Eticket said. Although when we get around to do Dynamis - Tav we will need to use the sign up sheet. Since the zone holds 18 ppl max.
 
When the day comes for dyna tav can we have an alternate group for dynamis also or something. Even if its bastok, I'd hate for the 25 or more ppl who dont make the first 18 to just say oh well time to look for another dyna this week :blue-cry:

A somewhat related note..

This is becoming a pattern. And worse the people who show up late tend to be DD. I'm all for people being allowed to come late but I need people to be flexible as far as the jobs they're willing to come as (especially if they're late).

I can usually fit in a few late DDs but when we're talking about 5-10 late DDs we end up with mp stretched a bit thin and mages taking care of healing outside people. While our WHMs our very good, having an extra party of DDs to heal can be a strain on their mp. Please keep this in mind if you are coming late.
 
As attendance keeps getting less and less. *Cough* People get drops and don't come back and help. *cough*

I am reopening invitees but it is going to be very selective. Basically for anyone new to come there will need a thread like what was done for Shadowedge. That way anyone can voice any problems they have with the potential invitee. Can PM also. Also I am opening up long time invitees to invite people if they want. Like Joeboo or halffpint. If they have been coming awhile and proven their worth to the shell they can let us know and we will put them up for an app like we did for Shadowedge. Also the Dynamis sacs will decide if an invitee has shown enough dedication to be allowed to invite someone. It will be discussed over with all the dynamis sacs.

Anyone who wants to put someone up for a chance to come to dynamis should let a sac know so we can put it up.
