This one is a personal request - SE you've got nearly 40 years of great chocobo themes. It's been 10 years with the current choco mount theme in XIV. As someone who vastly prefers chocobo mounts to any others, the music is super repetitive (but I do like to have the mount music different from the zone BGM).
Would LOVE LOVE LOVE some mechanism (either just adding it or some kind of mount quest line to unlock the different classic songs as rewards) wherein you can have a random selection of chocobo theme play each time you mount up.
Mount sidebar: things that shouldn't be able to fly (hippos, motorcycles, elephants, etc) should not be able to fly lol. Same goes for underwater mounts. Totally wrecks any kind of immersion/world building. Land-based mounts that can't fly should be able to climb certain terrain and move faster, though. Same for like, the ray mount for underwater.
