Change Save the Queen Defensive Essences

So for context before talking about Save the Queen we need to spend a moment talking about Eureka. Back in patch 6.4 Square Enix released an update to Eureka that reworked a good amount of logos actions. Primarily this update affected defensive wisdoms and actions including Wisdom of the Platebearer, Wisdom of the Guardian, Wisdom of the Indomitable, Protect L, and Shell L.

The change made it so anything that buffed defense instead provided mitigation. This is incredibly important to note because different gear sets in FFXIV provide different defense values which can result in a buff to defense having drastically different effects on different jobs. This happened to be visible most in Eureka because it allowed Maiming jobs (RPR and DRG) to have 96% physical damage mitigation with the correct setup.

So with the context out of the way, Save the Queen still uses defense rather than mitigation for essences (notably Platebearer, Veteran, Guardian, Beast, and Templar). The biggest problem with this in my opinion is that the mitigation defense stats provide is not visible to the player and may be misleading if you are not aware of how it works.

For example take Essence of the Platebearer. This essence increases your defense by 80% and maximum hp by 45%. While it may seem like this is an 80% mitigation it's actually only an ~16.87% mit for Striking/Scouting/Aiming job + magical mit for Maiming and an ~21.8% physical mit for Maiming.

To push this point even further, essences are the only thing that boost defense directly in Save the Queen. Lost Protect and Lost Shell actions are actual mitigations like any other.

So my request is really simple, please change these essences from defense increases to normal mitigations similar to Eureka. I think it would make what the essences actually do for the player much clearer.
