Can I Use Keys From Outside Steam In The Steam Version Of Ffxiv?

Long story short, used to own FFXIV + Heavenward in Steam. Decided to get back into it during quarantine. Bought ShadowBringers through Steam.

Realised I don't have any of my old log in info. So I'm creating a new account.

Can I buy FFXIV base through another store, such as Squares store, and use it in conjunction with my ShadowBringers key?
