I find it rather amusing that as politically correct as we are in America and fearful of any hints of racism, and the most rampant racism and bigotry I've seen in my travels has always been throughout asia. The folks rednecks all think look a like hate each other for so many reasons it's truly remarkable. Had a korean girlfriend for awhile in japan who was required to carry an internal passport saying she was korean, although she'd never been to korea nor had her parents.

You can go by bars, hotels, bath houses, whatever all with little signs saying no foreigners allowed. I love it. Take a couple of signs home and post them here and start the stopwatch to time how long before the first lawsuit hits.

I ran into a lot of that in the more asian-centric sections of hawaii. overall it's a great place but there are some heavy anti-caucasian sentiments under the surface there.
 
Yeah, the "JP only" comments that make us wonder wtf in game are actually no that surprising when they have the same signs at a lotta businesses.

And anything called 'Club Poo-Poo' should scare you. It probbaly involves enemas. For some reason the japanese find enemas erotic. I used to think the germans had the wackiest fetishes, but the japanese would make Sigmond Freud's head explode. Actually he wanted to do his mom too, so he'd probably be right at home.

The JP ONRY kind of statement really doesn't exactly ALWAYS mean what you think...

Some places use it only as a notice that they only speak Japanese. Other places are afraid to try and service foreign people due to language barriers.

There are a few places where you must be escorted by a Japanese friend to enter... and again, that's because they wouldn't be able to serve you properly.

The remaining majority are just racists problem...

I'm pretty sure if i walked in there naked, hip thrusting with money in my hand screaming "foooka meeee?!", the language barrier wouldnt matter.

The Chinese Massage parlors will.

Aquazero, I'm sure knows this next place as well....

Kabukicho --- an area of Shinjuku that's lined with Love Hotels, Host & Hostess Clubs --- They also have Chinese Massage Parlors with either Chinese, Korean and sometimes even white Russian/European girls. There are pictures of Kabukicho in my Japan pictures.

The chinese parlor girls will be on the street looking for customers say "Massage Sir?" -- You will see Japanese men with white girls, usually russian, who are escorts that they have paid for. We had an older Japanese business man sitting next to us on a dinner cruise who was with a russian girl.... who could barely speak english/japanese and the Japanese man was trying to speak broken english. Effectively, she was just there to eat and be his trophy girl for the night.

Anyway......... The parlor girls give you more than a massage for the 'special price'.
