Apkallu eggs

I think SE has decided we need to figure out Apkallu. The new cakes etc mostly require Apkallu eggs.

Has anyone found a "good" way to kill these? One a NIN or PLD could solo? The paralyze move sounds deadly to NIN :/ Or alternately, anyone need to kill these things and need a tank?

Also, anyone found a way to reset hate?

Does Apkallu hate stay with you permanently? I kill them now and then on the boat ride.

Kinda incomplete... not enough conclusive data on hate reset, other than long period of time.

All I remember about the green penguins is nuking them way back when I had decked out blm merits for like, 10 dmg.

i solo them on THF alot only pain is their aoe sleep, i didnt know about reseting hate on them though lol

As I understand it you can rng burn them without encountering resistances. Of course you'll have a penguin problem after that.

You can turn around on their sleep move, btw, if you're unlocked and paying attention.

I dont toss them i use them for cooking im 100+3 lol
