just curious if anyone on our server had beaten it yet i know people have but they didnt mention killing the random pet thing
 
well so far p abj feet p abj hands and m abj head are said to have been dropped but no SS as proof yet
 
its hearsay until i see screenshots but i feel the need to give people the benefit of the doubt however i expect once bg is up i might see more screens than ki or alla and such
 
We did this last night and got an exp scroll. :D

Obviously, we lost... but it seems doable now that we know what to expect.

The Boss is a Marid with Chigoe wannabes... There we about 12? Dark Elementals.... The constantly cast Sleepga :X

The Marid has a TP move that heals itself ~2500HP.

Even with poison pots (and Bio), dealing with 10 dark elementals was a real huge pain. I think we managed to kill 2 before the first wipe. Maybe others have a different perspective, but this whm was getting hate somewhat frequently from several different elementals. Maybe kiting will work, but having 8+ elementals wake up at once and start casting was not pleasant.

Oh yeah, and the Marid NM has a draw-in move. We tried the NM before attempting the elementals a 2nd time, and our puller got drawn into elemental aggro range. Hopefully next time they won't be as big a threat.
 
yeah the elementals were lame

I would get woken up and start to cast curaga and then slept again... and I think the elementals have endispel

my RR dissappeared one time... weird thing was that it wasn't in chat log
 
Yeah I learned a lot reading about that zone last night. Seems a lot of info was given to wins might be easier.
 
Few questions,

1#) How would you guys rate the strength level of normal-ish mobs?

2#) In regards to PT setups do you think a dynamis setup is better where everyone /assists 1 person, or set all PT's up like an EXP PT Tank/DD/healers each able to kill their own mob?
 
i havent done it but more that can be handled at once if they arent too strong might be better its less that can attack sleepers
