The worst is requiring a party member, especially if you enjoy front lines or alliance raids.
I love Viper but I hate what I thought would be my favorite feature. Edit: This extends to all jobs with a dash that requires a target.. for why?
Picto is more fun now purely because of the shorter range single charge dash they get JUST because it doesn't require a target.
Even White Mage can do this now, so PLEASE (I pray to yoshi P) consider removing this totally arbitrary requirement. At least let us target the ground like NIN.
Edit: What if we go to our target if we have one, but otherwise we move in the direction we're traveling or facing?
Sure, as long as I'm not in combat I can switch jobs to achieve this but then what's the hold up just removing the requirement?
