So it's that time again and people are throwing out their group trackers for everyone to pick up and use, I'd like to present a new clean approach that I've made for my friends to try this tier.
5.4 Raid Tracker
What's different: This one cuts out a lot of the scruff compared to the others for a pretty bare bones approach to checking people's gear.
Why are things like full detailed gear listings left out?
I have another sheet that fulfills the purpose of this on a larger scale for the individual player, rather than the group as a whole. It allows you to track gear for all of your jobs on one page with feedback on what current raid content each job has access to, and has a dedicated raid BiS tracker that allows you to track 4 jobs at once. Due to how it works, however, I will be waiting to patch day to release the latest version of it since I need the gear names to patch it properly. Once that's done it will operate on much the same principle as this one in that you won't need a new copy each patch, you'll just copy info over from the master sheet into a page on yours and it will be ready to go! (You do still need a new copy of it during an expansion launch due to new jobs but that's only once every two years!)

5.4 Raid Tracker
What's different: This one cuts out a lot of the scruff compared to the others for a pretty bare bones approach to checking people's gear.
- I am shadow, I'm (not) the light. Designed to be dark and readable, no white here!
- Input what you need, not what you have. Rather than putting in the gear each player has, you simply need to input your desired BiS gear at the start of the tier.
- No putting in you gear names, only iLv. At the end of the day gearing is about the numbers, and with the inclusion of the BiS checkbox this sheet removes the need for gear names. Just input your current iLv and tick the box if your geared!
- Floor drops shown on the characters. Need to see what gear people need from a floor? Just tick that floor and any non BiS gear for every player will be highlighted for you.
- A One-Time Pickup So long as the rules of gearing remain the same, you'll never need a new copy of this sheet. Just change the names of the floors on the 1st page and update the iLv caps in the red box on the second page, and you're good to go for another tier!
- A smart(ish) calculator The sheet, once fully filled out, can make suggestions for your group as to who would benefit the most from a piece of gear based on a priority checks system. Rather than examining the player's overall iLv it will check each slot individually, first looking at the iLv gain they would receive (good within a 10 point margin), and then failing that check fall back to comparing the iLv directly. This bit is still a work in progress, there are some kinks to work out in the math, but from rudimentary testing it seems accurate enough to be a good suggestion of who can benefit the most.
