Anyone know Rancor? He was trying to come with us last night but was told it was invite only and since no one said anything to any of the sacs until today lol. He is Benjador's brother. Just off of that I am willing to give the guy a chance but also wondering if anyone knows anything about Rancor. Details from LS members of any exp with the guy is always great to hear.

Can I be the first to officially speak up about Faren? In order to restrain myself, I'll just say this: it's not OK to melee and WS in Steal+ gear. Under any circumstances.

I would have to agree that I am disappointed in the way Faren has been acting. He has been coming late, leaving midrun for limbus, afking during the run while he's there, and in general not performing well while he is there.

Heie and I decided that based on the time he was there last night he should not even be given the 1/2 points (and currency is lotting money) given to people who miss more than an hour because he was probably only there for a total of 45 minutes.
 
I mentioned to Sass last night, but also wanted to make a public mention; I have a RL friend who's interested in joining if we still have any room for invitees. He was a regular in DX for over a year back in '05/'06. His name was Rikester, but he quit for a while, and has returned as Rike.

He's got a 75 rdm, smn, mnk, blu, nin, and soon thf to help out with.

Yeah, he told me before the run that he had limbus, and wanted to enter at a reasonable time so he wouldn't have to be quite so late on Wednesday. He's notorious for being slow and late, and his gear kinda sucks on Thief; what you see him wearing in dynamis is pretty much what he wears full time. (He's not "wearing the steal+", he really wears pants and hands AF1 full time- and the shoes for flee time.) He doesn't have haste+ set (just homam body and walahra turban), doesn't have dragon or other things (I think hecatomb shoes is all). If it makes you feel better, he could come as warrior. His gear is passable, and he's never been involved in hnm or anything to have much better gear than that. Has a sky LS, is about it. And that's a recent development. He spends most of his time in-game helping others so he lacks a lot of gear that most people deem "standard". I can vouch for that, because he's pulled me through a lot of quests and missions, and he's been playing this game longer than I have. I met him the first day I started playing.

From the beginning (joining Amitlu) he made it known to me and I assumed to Yels that he'd make it probably half the time (because of limbus) so really it's no big deal for him to gain nothing on a Sunday or trying to gain 1/2-1 point if he continues doing that isntead of trying to lot money or AF.

Ah yeah, and some people probably have issues with his personality quirks..he leads a social linkshell and is used to guiding new players and leading people through assaults, etc, believe it or not. His attitude isn't condescending as much as he really feels like he is helping out.

He didn't actually ask about jobs last night. I would definately have had him come WAR simply because we did not need another THF at that point. I found out he was coming last night from Heie and at that point he was already there.

I wasn't made aware that he would be doing limbus in the middle of dynamis runs before he joined.


The gear doesn't bother me so much as the feeling that he's not really trying. On the one hand I can understand that he would not want to blow off a previous commitment (limbus) but on the other I question whether its best for him to come if there's a conflict for him. And coming late without taking the time to say anything to me or in LS makes it difficult for me to account for him such that he can be on the best job for the setup we have.

Sounds good to me, I remember Rikester from back in DX. Anyone have any objections to him coming with us?

Then just have him come warrior and skip Sundays.
 
Ah yeah, my friend Pete..might be known to more older players, he came back from another server he'd hopped to recently, looking into getting back into dynamis, etc. His new name is Originalpete..I guess Pete got taken by some nub.

Anyhow, he'll likely be showing up with me to dynamis on Wednesday unless there are any objections~
 
Just for a heads up. While we do want some more people for our runs. Once we get about 32-34 people that are at the run we will be closing invitee. With 32-34 people we should be consistatnly clearing xarc.
 
Reali has asked about coming with us. She mentioned that she was a friend of Talithaa's. I asked her to PM me her jobs but have not yet received the PM. Anyone have thoughts about her coming with us? I will post later with her jobs when I get a PM. Or if anyone knows them feel free to post them.

I know Reali has whm, nin, blm, i don't remember what else he has.
 
Since there have been no objections and he has jobs that we are always in need of, Tali please ask him to come to Sandy tonight.

Can ask him to come to Xarc. Mention to him though that we do have an attendance system, so it will be a few runs before he can lot first tier on AF.
