Thread for suggesting invitees.

If anyone has any objections to suggested invitees, please either voice it here, or if you prefer to keep it private, to Heie, Yels, Sass or myself. Note that personal opinions of a person will not hold much weight unless they speak directly to a person's character.

Also, try not to go completely overboard with the number of invitees. Amitlu invitees =/= /sh HAY GUYZ WHO WANTZ DYNAMIS?
 
Posting about two people. Raingal who came with us tonight for windy.

Made an exception and let Raingal come cause they needed windy clear. But want to post this to see if should/shouldn't let them come to any future runs pending if anyone has any problems or not.

Another person who sent me a tell a while ago. Jifurlond who I think said they were a friend of Nekio but I can't remeber. I will have to say I am sorry to Jifurlond for taking so long to get around to putting this up.
Anyway if you know these either of these people let me know so we know if they should come to our runs or not. Thanks
 
Jifrulond attended Negatron when it was still running, so there should be some peeps that know him. He's a decent PLD and a fun/wacky guy. It's been a loooong time since I've done anything with him ingame, but I can't recall ever having any issues with him.

P.S. I already checked, and he's not lotting THF, so he's OK in my book.
 
I was not very impressed with Raingal. Holding off on Jif until I know more about him, 'cause so far all I know is his name.
 
Raingal is in my social LS. Have not see her "in action" in a loooong time out side of low lvl pt's. Known her in game for over a year. Sadly I thought she'd be better at her job. She also has PLD lvl'd but I do not know how she'd be on that job since I've yet to see her on it at 75 doing anything.

I do not know Jif. I say bring him in on a run and let's give him a try out!
 
I wasn't too impressed with Raingal either. As for Jifrulond, yeah known of the guy a while and I agree with Nekio, he's a decent PLD and a wacky guy, once you get past his other personality quirks. Maybe not so much now, but at least back in Negatron, always was boasting about Wizardry and all the junk they do. I wouldn't mind having him in Amitlu- we could probably count on him to not ditch our runs, unless Wiz has an event running, in which case he might let that precede dynamis.
 
As to Raingal, he/she seemed to have trouble targeting and had his/her avatars attacking slept mobs. Just what I saw.

I never had much interaction with Jif to know one way or the other.
 
Jif, as he did in Negatron, will most likely get what he wants than vanish afterward. I wouldn't let him join if he was the last person on Earth.

Your call though and I believe people have the power to change.
 
I would be a little hesitant wrt Raingal. I got a Raise 1 from her at a time when they weren't appropriate, which is fine since it was her first run with us and she doesn't necessarily know how we operate. But in the ensuing discussion and subsequent "oh wait, looks like we're 1/2 wiping anyway" she never said so much as a word; not an acknowledgement, "oops", or anything. Nothing the entire run, even when we got her the clear.

Maybe she's naturally quiet and shy around new people (I tend that way myself), but with the other issues mentioned, I'd think twice about inviting her. Maybe the second thought would be to give her a second chance, but it's certainly worth more discussion before admitting her to the shell.
 
Raingal R1ed me a few times also, once when I was the only one down. I also saw that she woke up some mobs with avatars a few times. I didn't get a very good impression of her.

An old friend of mine returned with the Return to Vanadiel Campaign recently, Alkin. He's a good friend of Sharain and Elvier too. Always was really sweet person, honest, etc.

Remember him being good at the jobs he played, don't remember what they were though.

He's asked to come with us on our Dynamis runs. Any objections?

P.S. just found out he only has Sandy clear! orz.. told him we were probably not clearing glacier for a long while again ~ he said w/e, he'd come anyhow.

I'd like to just post this here since it hasn't been posted yet.

The other night with the Valkrum Dunes Dyna run, Raingal assumed that she was coming along with us. I asked Yels about it and advised her that I thought it wasn't in our best interest for her to come along due to her inexperience with Dyna runs in general and a city run would be much better for her. Yels and Heie talked about it and chose to not allow her to come along. I guess one of them or one of the sacs /brokelinkshelled her. She then flipped out on me asking me why she wasn't allowed to come and why she lost the linkshell. It wasn't my place to tell her why and such since really it's none of my business and I'm not the one who made the decisions. I simplied told her that it was the hardest dyna zone and that she'd need to take that up with either Yels and Heie, not myself. She continued to flip out in tells to me and said that it was very rude of them and the linkshell to do that to her. She said that she was going to go with another LS to a Sandy run that was open because she wanted a clear and to lot SMN. I told her good luck and that was that. She did end up going with Vibe's Dyna LS to Sandy that evening.

What Fodder said above is very right. If she doesn't get her way she flips out and has horrible attitude.
 
some dude named fodder came to our group yesterday in Jeuno, I don't know what's up with this crap, but he kept calling me gay. I don't know how well he'll mesh with us.

Gallick would like to start coming with us. He said that he used to attend Ultima Dynamis 3-4 years ago. He referenced Eticket as a friend of his. Anyone have thoughts on whether or not we should pearl him?
 
I wasn't of a level to do endgame stuff when he was in my ls before, but what I knew of him he's a good guy.

Although.... he didn't mention me??? :weeping01

Forget it!! No pearl for him!!
