I have a couple of thoughts about the Brands that were introduced in the most recent MSQ:
1) Unless we see someone dying to Brand-induced heart failure early into Evercold, I will be under the assumption that the brands don't actually do anything and are merely a tool of fear and subjugation.
2) Assuming the Brands work as we were told, killing people bearing different Brands if they get too close to each other, imagine the horrific possibilities for warfare. Imagine throwing someone onto a densely packed enemy ship as a suicide bomber of sorts. Or, if you know the crew of the enemy ship isn't equipped with ranged weapons, they are unable to get close enough for melee combat.
Those are just two thoughts about the Brands. What are yours?
