Hey All! So I got super into FFXIV about two years ago and me and my cousin played everyday for three months for hours upon hours as we navigated our way through the ARR story. We both fell in love with the game and had no problems getting into the content of its original story. Upon beating ARR, we both were excited to delve into Heavensward in our quest to reach the new content in the game at the time: Stormblood. Then we hit the 100 or so quests in between ARR and HW. I just remember that as I drug myself along I kept feeling the inevitable dread of burn out on the horizon. The game was so good and the story was intense at the end of ARR and had me looking forward to the expansions. But these quests took it out of me.
My cousin and I finished these quests and he kept playing while I stopped about 15 missions into Heavensward. He constantly urged me to give it another go, and told me that the story got so amazing after he finished Stormblood. Despite his beginning pleading, I refused.! It wasn’t until last month that I gave it another go. I main White Mage, and I was so lost after not playing for 2 years. But as I’ve gotten into Heavensward and interacting with the wonderful community once more my love for this game burns stronger than ever. I am about 25 quests from the end of Heavensward, and I hope to see you all after I eventually beat Shadowbringers. Do you guys have a returning story or interesting tales to tell?
