A Question about the Elpis Section of Endwalker

In Endlwaker, during the Elpis section, shortly after meeting Venat the player character reveals their story, that they are from the future and came back in time to investigate Elpis to find a solution to the Final Days. Because the player character is a "silent protagonist," we don't know exactly what was said but based on the images we see on screen, and Emet-Selch's response, we know at least that Emet-Selch was told in great detail about himself. He takes offense to his portrayal as "megalomaniacal madman" and does not believe that he would sully the memory of those sacrificed for Zodiark by making a phantom city of them. He also does not like the idea that he would be so foolish as to invite the player character to come and thus bring about his own doom as he does not think he'd want to die until his duty was complete.

So, I wonder: did the player character give as much detail and information about the future Fandaniel as well? Because for the rest of the Elpis section everyone seems to be operating under the idea that Hermes seems like a kind and gentle soul who wouldn't hurt anyone. Did the player character not warn them that in the future he's a nihilistic psychopath who, according to his own words, wants to die and take everyone with him?

When Hermes first betrays the group to transform and fly away with Meteion, they're all shocked. And later, when he betrays them a second time by binding them so that he can let Meteion escape, they are again caught by surprise. But the whole time I was thinking to myself: did the player character not warn them that he's potentially crazy, and that something that happened here might be the reason he became a madman in the future? Especially after that emotional outburst he had in front of Emet-Selch and Hythlodaeus regarding life and death.

That entire section I felt like the player character should have been much more suspicious and watchful of Hermes considering Fandaniel is the one to orchestrate the kick-starting of the Final Days in the future.
