Hi reddit I'm a pretty new player to the game having only played for two weeks. But this game has really just been a breath of fresh air for me.
This is because my last "mmo" that I was into was Destiny 2 just a scant couple weeks ago. But D2's monotonous and repetitive gear grind just broke me. Which is funny considering I am now playing an mmorpg which is all about doing the same things over and over for loot. But ffxiv at least has a bunch of other things you can do to enjoy yourself. From levelling other classes, to doing side quests, to going to the gold saucer. While D2 only had pve and pvp fps combat. And best of all are my many fellow warriors of light that have helped me out and listened to my questions about the game. Now here I am a lvl74 Dragoon at the 4.x quests before Shadowbringers.
So thanks for being awesome FFXIV.
