Actually after watching that preview, I don't think it'll devolve into Lord of the Flies. Its "supervised" and still "structured" in such a way that will lead towards something.

Makes me wonder if any of hte kids will be "prompted" with certain speeches/sayings at the right time in order to make that "wow" impact on the TV viewers (and subsequently the ratings).

Human psychology and human nature at its best. MMOs are along that same line as well.
