I just finished Heavensward MSQ, it was a really good story but the writers really dropped the ball when it came to the Ul'Dah plotline. The sultana died, we were accused of assassination, and the scions are practically gone.
When we began HW we were running as refugees to Ishgard, trying to solve this political conspiracy while dealing with the Dragonsong War and how it all ties up together. We freed Raubahn, Illberd went off into hiding, and then Lolorito pulls off a blatant deus ex machina essentially reversing almost everything that happened in 2.55. It left a bitter taste. What were the writers thinking?
