2x SP Assaults - LFG

Looking for a group to do the following two SP Assaults:

- Leujaoam Sanctum : Escort Profesor Clavauert
- Mamool Ja Training Grounds : Sagelord Elimination

I can get on most nights between 9PM EST and 1AM EST, and on Saturdays and Sundays I can typically get on around 12PM EST, but would need to know a few days in advance.

Also, if you are looking for other Assaults, I would suggest making your own thread, specify what you want/need and not piling up requests here. Last time I tried finding people to set up a couple runs with I was not specific enough and the thread turned in to a "status check" for anyone that had ToAU installed, and did not accomplish getting a group together for any runs.
 
I'm game to do any assault up to and including LC Wildcat Badge assaults. I'm on every night. Keep in mind that for both of the two assaults mentioned you will probably want 6 people.

How does this Thursday night sound? Gather at 9PM EST and do 3 or 4 Assaults? Maybe something like:

Valgavv - NIN
Kalia - THF
Sass - WHM or BRD or BLM (depends on what other mages we could get)
Ono - WAR

And then get two others, either two mages or one mage and another DD?
 
For Sagelord elimination, you want lots of support for sleeps. 3 mages and 3 melees sounds good.
 
There's too many. By the end of the Assault you can have upwards of 15 adds. Plus bolts miss sometimes, or don't proc. It might work as a fallback, but mages would be better.
 
yeah extra sleepage is nice. Trying to keep 20 adds slept with only BRD and RDM is a pain and exp lose :D

I'll come if you have room. I have done both of them. For the Escort,
2 or 3 Brd's will make this assualt a piece of cake.. Or Prepare to die!!!

For Sagelord, 3 Mages that can cast Sleepaga or Lullaby is Prefered..

I heard 2nd hand that you can take SMN in there, let pet get aggro on all links, pet dies, links de-pop.

For which assault? The SP escort? Or the Sagelord one?

And I am still holding to gathering at 9PM EST on this Thursday (11/02).
 
Worth a try, but I know for a fact that in other Assaults, aggroing mobs and training them will NOT cause them to depop after you die.
 
I've read that too about smn, and it's for the escort mission. From what I read, the smn can sneak up and lead carby around, and carby will (for some weird reason) attack a skeleton without the smn being on the hate list. The smn can train them away, the main problem being that the smn needs to keep sneak up. After carby dies, resummon in a safe place and continue. I don't know that the skeletons were supposed to depop, but at least they'd be wandering back to their camps slowly.

Note that I have not personally tried or witnessed any of this.

I am interested in those areas, and pretty much any assault in general (even Ilrusi, which I've done dozens of times >_>). I am cleared up through LC assaults and have whm, smn, and brd available. So if you're still looking for people, I'd love to help out. ^_^
 
How does this sound for this Thursday:

Valgavv - NIN
Onorok - WAR
Kalia - THF
Sassafras - BLM
Tarnak - BLU
Tarja - BRD (or BLM? - forget if you have BRD capped)

Might be a little weak on healing, plus Talfus (WAR or WHM) and Varda (WHM, SMN or BRD) are left out initially, but they are interested and can take open slots. Sound ok? Speak up if you can or can not be on this Thursday night at 9PM EST. Thanks.
 
I'll be there. Escort will be a little tough with that setup since undead tend to sleep better with bards, but we'll give it a shot. Just bring RR :)
