Did you know Zero is the first agender character in the game?
They hid something right under our noses. And either I’m way too happy I caught it… OR I’m completely wrong, let me stay in denial.
When we meet her:
Zero has no name
Neither man nor woman (even if she’s gendered female in FR)
Neither demon nor human
Neither ally nor enemy (she only helps if you give her aether)
Basically? A non-binary character in EVERY sense of the term.
And then… Y’shtola gives her a name.
Quick reminder: in computing, there are only two binary digits — 1… and 0.
From the start, the game was showing the impact we would have on her.
But what I love is that the first non-binary character they created… they named her Zero.
Even if it wasn’t intentional, I love that.
This is 100% a conspiracy theory and now you’re part of it…
