This slightly upset Canadian just returned from a vacation from the game to find out the Devs have removed what was cool about the Arcanist/Summoner classes, namely summoning a creature to fight beside you under your full control. I love pet classes like the Necromancer and Conjuror in EQII or the Warlock and Hunter in WoW. FFXIV used to be the same way but they changed it and made it worse. Its not very fun anymore. Carbunkle just sits there being useless. What were they thinking??? I am not happy about this change and I hope they go back to the older better way. Please, make Arcanist/Summoner real pet classes again.
