On another post, the topic of the Job Stone system, that FFXIV uses, came up, and it made me question, which of our allies actually uses a job stone.

For those unfamiliar, the Job Stones are a collection of memories, housing within it the techniques used by the various jobs. They allow its user a shortcut to learning and mastering these techniques; as well as recording newer ones. But this is only a shortcut, and that doesn't mean they are "needed" to learn or master any techniques.

So that begs a question, which one of our allies actually use a Job Stone?

The only definitive answer seems to be Alphinaud, as we see him receiving a Sage Job Stone from his mother.

As for the others...

Y'shtola is most likely a no, considering she specifically calls what she uses Thaumaturgy.

G'raha is also probably a no, considering he had 100 years to master being a WHM/BLM/PLD.

Thanked might have one, since he said he learned the art while traveling in Ilsabard, but only swapped while on The First.

Urianger might have one too, but it's unclear, since he did grow up in Old Sharlayan.

Alisaie is questionable, since she was already and accomplished mage and fencer prior to meeting X'rhun, so his teachings might not of been "intense". Plus when you talk with him, he says she was a quick study.

Estinien probably doesn't use one as he was trained as a Dragoon since he was young.

Krile might not use one, since she was practicing Pictomancy for a while.

As for some of our other allies, like Hien, Gosetsu, Yugiri, I think it's safe to say no, since they are apparently classically trained. We even see the Samurai school in Kugane.

So what are people's thoughts on this? Who uses a Job Stone, and who doesn't?
