I’ve got about 550 hours in the game, and was only recently that I started going online and seeing people use the term “tanxiety”. I main Paladin, and usually main a tank role when playing other RPGs or hero shooters, but I never had that feeling before.
I’m not trying to brag or anything, but as long as I’ve understood the tank role, it’s been “take all aggro and keep your team alive”. With that understanding, I thought it was pretty easy to just be a punching bag. If anything, I would think that healing is much more nerve-racking, as team survival truly hinges on their performance.
I can understand worrying about performance during your first run of a dungeon/trial/raid, but every role wouldn’t know what to do at that point.
What makes one have “Tanxiety”? What is the thought process behind it? Is it just a matter of preference? I’m genuinely trying to understand.
