Just wanted to make a very late post of appreciation for the Windward Wilds fight. There are two things about this fight that make it really special for me.
I think one thing that makes a good boss fight for me is when the telegraphs are readable simply by looking at the boss/environment, not the AOE colours on the floor. This fight has many such attacks.
When Arkveld raises its arms, when arkveld raises its tail, the way it dashes across the room, all of these are attacks that almost don't need a telegraph. You kinda get "shit I need to get out of the way for this".
Not all the attacks are like that, the exploding circles for example are almost purely ground-telegraphy. But still I appreciate the telegraphs overall.
I like how I am dashing across the room most of the time. And it's not just that you're running to dodge AOEs, that happens in every fight. It's that it feels like you're being chased by a big guy. You constantly have to reorient yourself, judge where the mob is, and get into position.
Contrast this with the 12th fight of this raid tier with the Lindwurm. You are still running around from the AOEs. But it feels way more static, simply because your target is mostly static for almost all the fight.
I really wish they'd have more fights where your target (maybe even targets) are moving more dynamically.

- The telegraphs are (mostly) immaculate.

- There is loads of "chase" and movement.
