the future of the msq

when it comes to the msq opinions go from love to 'let me ignore it'. and there are some problems with it.
like having to wait for a fight to pop. on some servers and jobs for an eternity. having to wait for reset every day is nonsense.
also: while its extremly long its also required for pretty much everything. which probably isnt the best combination.

i would like it to be more multiplayer friendly (like not having to leave the group for every single player instance) but at the point we are its probably better to make the msq a pure single player experience.

i talk about a split between msq and multi player. there are a few options to do that and for variety reasons they should go with all of them.

1. they could make single player versions of some content. we are the wol we can surely beat some enemies on our own. that wouldnt mean less multiplayer content. they can put in the normal versions we know regardless.... i just say wandering minstrel.

2. npc's: well they do that already with dungeons and a few trials. they can continue with that, but only when it really fits and doesnt require characters to pop up out of nowhere. these would be the only content you need a group in the msq, but since its doable with npcs the waiting time isnt and issue.

3. having less dungeons and trials directly in the msq. just put them into sidequests.

and also difficulties.. they should make an easy, normal and hard difficulty for msq instances.

thats for the msq part.

apart from that i do think they should give players an option to ignore the msq for now. not skipping it, but ignoring it so its still available later. so players can do extremes and other stuff first. wether that would be through a 'forbidden content' list players can just do not unlocked content or if they grant the players access to maps and quests without msq i dont know.

these two things would help with several issues people have with the msq. be it casual player or raider

what are your thoughts? what are your ideas to make the msq better fit to the players needs and wants or just the current situation overall?
