Switch 2 - Performance Mode/30 FPS Smoothing

Hey Everyone!

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, it's not a bug or issue, but some feedback I want to give on this new version as I don't see it being fully discussed right now, as I think the game is working as intended (everything below is for when it is docked play).

The issue I wanted to bring up is actually later game content on SW2 and how performance for some encounters tanks the frame rate to difficult to play/head ache levels, and I've found that it looks to be correlated with the particle effects on screen for both players, enemies and environments. Particle effects seem to be copying the high/ultra setting, as it looks the same as the PS5 version of the game (the game also lags whenever you go on a flying mount due to the "breeze" it shows behind your character on SW2). When you're in the 1080p mode for PS5, the particle effects are lessened to ensure a smoother experience, so I'm wondering if it's possible to be lessened for a smoother experience.

I've also noticed that flora like grass density and the like really sinks the frame rate as well on this version, for example, right outside Uldah, the frame rate hits 30fps or lower, but if you go somewhere without massive patches of grass, the frame rate will spike to 60fps.

Framerates can also hit 60fps in the game when multiple players are on screen and environment details are lower, for example, in the Shadow Bringers Alliance raid 2, the game will actually run at 60fps until a player casts a spell, which immediately brings the frame rate to 30 or lower. The player count doesn't seem to be effecting the frame rate as much as the particle effects, ground effects, or even texture details are.

The other issue mixed with all this, is that the 30fps mode doesn't feel like a smooth 30fps itself, but instead feels jittery, or like its inconsistent, even if the 30fps never changes when doing general content. I recently finished FF7 Rebirth on SW2 and for some reason the 30fps there felt smooth and easy to follow/play, however the SW2 version of 14 doesn't seem to feel the same to play and feels sluggish to navigate the game and menus.

This has already gotten really long, but I was wondering since I know there is a chance a dev might see this eventually if posted here, is it possible to add a performance mode to the SW2 version of 14 that aims for 60, with lower ground density, lower particle effects and potentially lower texture resolution to smooth out the game? Or would it be possible to add something to the 30fps mode to make it a bit smoother when docked?

I know this is a larger ask and this version is still in the technical period. I just wanted to add this in as feedback for the future while this versions launch is ironed out. Really appreciate and love that this game is on a Nintendo platform now and having access to it on the go! No matter who reads this, I hope you have an amazing day!
