[Suggestion] Remove Rescue as a skill, or make it so you need to opt-in.

I've never used the forums before, so I hope this is worded properly -- I want to be civil about this because I understand that this skill can be used in productive ways occasionally.

However, over the last few years, the experiences I've had with Rescue have been overwhelmingly negative. I was already extremely wary about a movement skill that can be used without player consent being added to the game, but time and time again the NA playerbase has just proven it cannot be trusted to use this skill in a non-disruptive way. I understand that I'm speaking from the experience of 11 years of playing this game/raiding, so I personally do not need someone to do mechanics for me, or move me. It may be more useful to sprouts, but even then: sometimes it's better to teach someone by explaining to them over chat than it is forcibly moving them without context. A happy medium is having there be a setting that allows you to opt-in to having Rescue be usable on you, that way people can toggle it on if they want to use it with friends or have it used on them, and toggle it off if they feel it disrupts them.

Additionally, for the devs -- please understand that there is mild latency here in NA compared to JP, and movement skills are far riskier for us, a lot of us know how to time our skills around AOEs going off on our monitors, which is different from how someone else who is using a forced movement skill on it would perceive it.

Here are a few examples of when Rescue has been used on me recently:

- Being rescued away from mobs I am DPSing on dungeons so I can pull them against invisible walls for "faster runs" on tank, which interrupts my melee damage. This is supposedly done with the intent of speeding up the dungeon run, but it loses damage GCDs/interrupts them.

- Having my Ifrit cast on Summoner in M11N disrupted so the healer could rescue me into a safe spot two feet away I didn't need to stand in for another 10-12 seconds.

- Getting uptime on a boss with a stretching tether mechanic, which I had Elusive Jump for. I was rescued away from the boss while my jump went off, which sent me back into the AOE and got me hit by it.

- Having my tankbuster rescued into people in an Alliance Raid.

In the first three cases, the healers immediately tried to justify their actions and refused to admit they were disrupting someone else's gameplay or even apologise. In the first situation, it actually ended up resulting in a report, because they were actually being toxic in chat at my pleads for them to stop.

There have been countless times when this skill has been used to grief players or disrupt their gameplay. I want to find a suitable solution for people who genuinely find the skill useful (or want to do fun strategies with it) and I feel that having it be a feature you can turn on and off is a happy medium.
