Now imma try to be gentle about this cause from other searches i've done his death seems to still be a sore spot for some people
but when/why did people get so attached to lord Haurchefant?
i mean. He's nice i guess. he took us in after the whole crystal braves fiasco so I’ll give him points for that. But other than what feels like the bare minimum of not betraying us, i don't see when i was supposed to get attached to this character.
Not to mention the fact that his death seemed almost a bit silly. like. why is this guy blocking an attack for the warrior of light? bro we can handle it, we kill gods on the regular. and why was Haurchefant the only person to run forward with us when seemingly way stronger people are present like estinien?
so do people like him just cause he took us in that 1 time?
or maybe it had more of an effect on people who actually had to wait between the RR and heavensward storylines?
or was there any cut content from RR that had more of him in it? cause he really wasn't in it that much
on a sort of related but also not related note. His dad's reaction to his death was very sad to me and very nearly had me crying. Parent's loosing their kids has to be one of the most heartbreaking things I can think of.
