[Spoiler 7.41] Is there a lore reason to have the PCT relic weapon ribbon not facing outward on your back? Why?

Why? Are there any other weapons designed like this too? The ribbon is quite detailedly designed; looks pretty, but why does it have to face inward when sheathed? It's haunting me.
