So, throughout the MSQ, I’ve been doing lasting changes to my character based on impactful events. For example the scar on the left was given to me by Zenos in the end of Stormblood. The fight was so epic that I wanted to remember it.
The second scar (under the face paint) was given to me by, well, also Zenos. The fight in Endwalker with him also felt very impactul and very personal so wanted to remember that as well. (I kinda regret it tho because the sheer limitation of scars and tattoos and face paint for a character, coulda given for another reason in 8.0, who knows)
The blue stars I added on my character because I wanted to remember Meteion. Her story was so tragic to me and I felt sorry for her and wanted to remember her.
Now, there’s not really much I can add to my character any longer as all the customization options are pretty much used out. But this has had a huge impact on my immersion with the story. Feels like I’ve actually gone through it all.
Hope we get a customization overhaul some day so I can continue to do this..
