I was just the worst companion in a Pilgrim's Traverse party. Dc'd once (Thanks Rogers Internet) and then my controller died. No problem have a fully charged one ready... except that one won't turn on... either. Cue me panicking, googlinh, seeing that fast chargers can fry the controllers (I was looking up info for the PS4 controller first too due to panic).
Turns out I had to manually restart the PS5 with both controllers plugged in to get them working.
So note to PS4/PS5 users. If your controller suddenly only flashes orange once when plugged in, or flashes blue a bunch when the PS button is pressed but refuses to connect. First try manually resetting the PS4/5 first a few times with it plugged in before you let the panic sink in.
Also if you were in a party on Pimal with a poorly trained Ninja femra in black and white named Siobhan Tempest who eventually timed out. I am so dang sorry. Now excuse me while I calm myself down from a panic attack @.@
