Just wanted to thank chaos players for being so chill in the duty roulette. It's been 3 months since I left the North American Data Center because I just couldn't deal with the persistent arguing and crash outs that kept happening over there between players in the duty roulette. None of those events even had anything to do with me, but it gets exhausting when players just spazz out over the smallest errors or when people try to tell others to perform their role to the best of their abilities and then parties disband and we have to wait awhile for a new player to fill in. Especially if it's a tank or healer.
Having played on NA for over a year and then moving my main to the chaos server, I honestly had doubts that things would be better. I know I am a casual player, I will never do high-end content, but even the casuals on NA seem to just lose control whenever any error, no matter how big or small, occurs during a roulette. It certainly isn't all of them but feels like it's most of them.
In case anyone is wondering why I am making this post it's because I decided to queue as healer and got a tank who didn't turn their stance on. This was the first time I had an experience like this on the EU Data Center. We tried to tell the tank to please turn it on but either they weren't paying attention to chat or didn't understand English. The content wasn't difficult (a level 60 dungeon), so I had zero issue keeping everyone alive, but I was shocked at just how chill everyone was. The DPS must have had a lot of faith in me but all I could think about during the run was how this situation would play out differently in the NA Data Center.
Maybe I am making a big deal out of nothing, or maybe my view of players has been warped on the NA data center, or maybe chaos players just have delicious meals that reduce their stress levels, or something... but everyone over here is just so calm whenever I do roulettes. Even during alliance raids there is zero talking and everyone is just doing what they have to do. If players start getting KO'ed left and right chaos players just keep calm and rectify bad moments as they occur.
I haven't seen anyone have any arguments, no crash outs, nothing... It's scary. That doesn't mean these things don't happen on chaos, I am sure they happen somewhere around here, but it feels so rare that I feel like I am playing a completely different game.
