SCREW QUFIM

I second that

No clear. Had bad luck finding the subjob restorer, fought the kraken NM without SJs most of the fight and had a 2/3rd wipe. Had about a 1/2 wipe or more to the golem NM. Then a bunch of goblins followed the megaboss and gave us a fast full wipe.

Mostly just bad luck, but it was really disappointing. ;_;

Aah :/

We did Dynamis - Qufim with MissionHunter thrice in three weeks, and they all went very smoothly, except when some noob RDM NA aggrod the Mega Boss' sac pull and trained them on the whole alliance...

Not sure how they do for the SJ ???, but generally, Darkrain pulls a couple Bats, gets SJ, then we go kill the Water Elemental, Kraken, go to Delkfutt's Tower while pulling the stones on the way, kill one Bomb, Ice Elemental, pulls Birds and camp here, followed by the Golem, and finally the Mega Boss, with a Chainspell order.

Weapons are very bad to farm as they have strong AoE... Deremite are bad idea too, as they spawn like 5 each and 3 of them linked, so like 15 Deremites...

But yeah, farming there have been waste of time, everytime, lol.

The SJ was just in a rough spot tonight. When it got popped, we lost all buffs (food + reraise ect), which happened to be mid-kraken fight. The kraken just spammed AOE the whole time regardless. Then path on the mega-boss went bad so all the gobbies came with.

Short answer: everything that could go wrong, did go wrong, while still giving us a glimmer of hope up until the end.

Generally speaking weapons and kraken mobs are more agressive the more people you have beating on them feeding them tp.

I've actually never been to dynamis-Qufim but if the mobs there follow the same pattern, it may be wise to have just have 2 nin's with attack setup duo, while the rest stay back and can focus on slow curing.

Here's a somewhat elaborated list of what went wrong.

1. SJ ??? by Tower. Our choices were to either let Tarnak pop it mid-fight with the Kraken or fight the Kraken w/o SJ at all. We also could have waited to fight the Kraken until we'd fought our way to the tower, but that would have required some amount of backtracking, although we could have cleared a path through the Quadav, which would have given Tarnak access to here and then let him go get that free of aggro while we killed the Water Elemental, by the time he got it we would have been about ready for the Kraken. This later choice probably would have been a better idea, since it wouldn't require backtracking at all, but during the run things were already in motion & we hadn't thought of that ahead of time.

2. The Kraken spammed AoE moves & literally killed every single melee, and a lot of mages.

3. The golem also spammed AoE, bound the hell out of all the melees & was then pulled away from him. In my opinion this problem was handled poorly in general by the alliance as if he had been brought back in range of the melees they would have been able to keep attacking him. Regardless of the deaths here we still had time for the Megaboss which was all that mattered.

4. On the Megaboss pull we should have just gone for a straight out sac pull, but he doesn't always link. It looked like Tarnak had a clean pull on him since it started pathing around the corner. As it seemed he had completely pathed around it I provoked him, he then pathed backwards back around the corner, linked all the goblins, which then had hate on me. I couldn't use invincible to survive & train away because then the Megaboss would have come with me as well, so instead some people tried to rush in to grab the Megaboss before I died. They couldn't get him off me before the goblins swarmed me, so the goblins then all linked on those coming in, and subsequently the entire alliance.

Just a frigging nightmare in general. Even though it was our mistake on the pull, to some extent, nothing went our way in general. If we hadn't gotten so screwed over early in the run we probably would have had time to let Tarnak & I die on the pull, reraise just us, and then do the pull again.

I've scheduled a Qufim for the beginning of January, if we clear that then I will schedule another Tavnazia at the end of January, if we don't clear it I will schedule another Qufim.

Why couldn't you sack the way to the ???? Have someone put RR up, PD+Flee past the tower, die, reraise, hit the ???.

um kalia .... thats what we did lol

I ran from the east exit and i ran clockwise through all the "???" locations then reraised for the 2nd time and then ran to the spine by the tower and it was there so i died before i popped it due to RR being dispelled if i touched it so i died reraised to get the quadavs off me then touched it then hell broke loose

Honestly, it wasn't anything that anyone did wrong anyway. SE was just rolling the dice against us. I was totally surprised we didn't wipe on the way to the birds and golem.

Honestly i take it personally when i make one mistake and i assume a lot of responsibility for last night and know what i could have donebetter. So its still a learning process for me in some areas :D

The only thing I feel was a real error at the time was our pull on the Megaboss which we should have just completely sacked to begin with. But that wasn't communicated at the time to do it that way.

Meh, it wasn't great timing but it wasn't your fault either. The only impact it had was blowing reraise, but that would only be an issue if people used reraise items in the first place.

I said to go ahead & unlock SJ, we were already being thrashed at that point, I did consider losing buffs as a factor, but with the beating we were already taking I thought it more important to have access to SJ abilities than to have our buffs.
