I was spending way too much time trying to /handover food to my Dress-up Estinien, and he just kept completely ignoring me . It reminded me of a super old mechanic that a lot of newer players might not know about!
Most "doll" or wind-up minions are basically coded to just stand there. (There are a couple of exceptions like Nanamo jumping on your shoulder or poking the Sun, but mostly they don't care about you lol).
But if you put on the "Mammeteer" title (you get it from an achievement for collecting 30 follow-type minions), it actually changes their AI! It turns off their obedient mode, so they'll start wandering around and actually reacting to /pet and /handover just like the living pets do.
I put together a quick little video showing the side-by-side difference if anyone wants to see how it actually looks:
Anyway, just a fun little hidden setting I wanted to share for fellow gposers and minion collectors!
