I've been falling out of love with this game and every patch I try to come back and I just get tired of it in a week or so and don't sub until the next patch. I thought for sure I just didn't like the content but it finally hit me after all this time. Removing that last crumb of friction from my main job's kit sucked a whole lot of fun out of it, there isn't anything I have to consider in my rotation anymore and fights don't feel engaging because of it no matter how many AoEs they throw at me, I can just slip slide around without a care. At first it didn't feel like too big of a deal but the more time I spend with this version of TCJ the worse it feels.
Occult crescent does majorly suck though and north horn is insanely boring with how little mechanics each fight has and how little the mechanics escalate AND how unengaging they all are, you see every move within the first 30-60 seconds and then it's looping 2-3 mechanics until the end.
I know we are getting evolved jobs and if TCJ is kept in the kit it should force you to stand still then too. Nevertheless the restriction should be brought back for "reborn" mode.
