We know it's possible to adjust the body shape and size using the same base body because it's done between races to create different looks for them. Please use that same feature to allow us to adjust the size of our characters to something other than (for most races) stick thin.
I don't expect full plus size or fat rolls or comical level curves. I don't expect a full other model to be created. I just want my character to look closer the age and size I imagine her, but allowing her to have a bit more hip, and wider waist/thighs. But my character (a female midlander) has thighs that in some outfits are small enough they appear to be smaller than Alisaie's who is sixteen and not much taller than her. For Miqo'te and Au'ra it is about the same also.
I do feel there should obviously either be presets or limitations to sizes of certain features (to avoid the huge boobs and butt only thing) but I am simply tired of her looking so tiny just because of the race I picked and prefer for her.
As far as skin goes, yes there was some improvement to darker skin tones with DT, but the more middle tone skins still look very ashy and dull, as it's not dark enough for the skin sheen to contrast against but not light enough for the less sheen to look normal.
I also feel it's wouldn't be a huge ask to have a few more texture options for the body itself, such as freckles, maybe some discoloration or flush, etc.
It honestly looks like the face textures got upgraded in DT but the body is still so flat looking, when it could easily have a bit more detail to it. Lines for the elbow creases, some detail on the knees, stuff like that.
Don't get me started on how being allowed more than one makeup type (aka instead of just a single face paint) could allow for a lot more customization. Most of the makeup in game looks less like makeup and more like just things that I feel bring realism to my character. I don't need/want full on glam but being able to have both freckles and eyeshadow or blush at the same time would be nice. If people can have their character running around with half their face painted neon blue, I don't think both blush and eyeshadow on a character is going to break the immersion.
These are all things I feel wouldn't heavily impact people's ability to run the game but would vastly improve the character creation. It would also allow far more diversity in characters.
