Steps:
Since the last Patch 7.45 update (March 3, 2026), a hard freeze occurs every time I leave the controller idle for a short period. When I press the Xbox Center button to reactivate the controller, the game freezes. The player cannot perform actions, fight moves, or ride a mount. Cannot restart, quit the game or Ctrl+Alt+Delete. Windows fails to open Task Manager, Restart or Power Off. The PC requires a manual reboot using the power button.
1. Load the game into the current world.
2. Accept any type of quest in the area.
3. Play normally by riding a mount and engaging in combat for 20-30 minutes.
4. Pause gameplay for 10 minutes and turn off the controller.
5. Turn the controller back on using the Xbox center button.
6. Observe the game freezing completely (hard freeze) upon the controller’s activation.
7. Try to Log out from the game, try to Quit the game.
Additional: In windows, try to perform Task Manager, Restart or Power Off the PC.
Bug Behavior:
*The character, mount, or monster disappears from the screen, but the player can still move.
*The character’s hot bar appears empty, though the action titles are still visible.
*The monster’s attack names are still visible on the screen.
*The character is unable to fight back.
*The character may slide in place.
*Walking, running or emotes, no reactions are triggered.
