 | One month ago, I started the game for the first time on my Switch 2. I've been playing it on and off since then. Thought I would share my experiences again. I've gotten to level 15 in Arcanist, my starting class. Still not 100% sure how it works, but I'm managing. I have a few new spells now, as well as a Topaz Carbuncle. I'm having fun learning how to use them. I've started both the Fisher and Cook classes. I've got the hang of fishing but not quite cooking yet. I look forward to fishing in all the waters of Eorzea. I also started the Rogue class. I heard it upgrades to Ninja, and I do like Ninjas, so I'm excited to keep playing as it. It seems a little easier than Arcanist so far, although I'm level 5 or so. I started what I assumed would be a minor sidequest about tracking down some kidnappers, but it ended up being the start of the main quest. It was the first fully voiced quest, at any rate. I also met someone who I was told is named Y'shtola. I vaguely remember seeing her name somewhere before when I read about this game, but I have no idea who she is or what she does. They got some Final Fantasy in my Final Fantasy game when I got a vision telling me that I needed to find crystals of light to banish the encroaching darkness. It didn't sound all that urgent. I can probably do some more sidequests before I have to get around to it. Either way, I'm excited to see what happens as the story continues. Also, following the tips you guys gave me last time, I got added to the Novice Network today. I got some of my questions answered, so that was nice. I also found the Hall of the Novice today and completed those quests for Arcanist. Got some nice equipment from it, too. I also got an adorable kitten minion today, which I'm very happy about. So far, I'm enjoying the game. I'll probably keep playing it off and on while I play other things. I might make a new character and check out one of the other starting cities soon.
