I haven't played FFXIV in 8 or 9 years, and I was trying to log into my old account when I got hit with this: "Your Square Enix account was terminated due user agreement violation, compromised account or other anonymous reason".
I tried researching it and saw things about people's accounts getting hacked for phishing scams etc. If that's the case, it likely happened years ago. Do I have any shot of recovering my account/progress/items, or is it a lost cause?
I'm making a support ticket for it, but from what I've seen it can take ages to get a response. I remember specifically having the carbuncle minion that you get with the plushies SE used to sell on their site. I'm almost more disappointed I'll never see that cutie again.
