skip the big paragraph if you just want to know my question, it is just a sob story anyway
First of all i know it sounds stupid. I started playing this game mostly to play a joke on a friend, but the joke ended up being me as im still playing it years later, however. something did happen when i was still in the free trial of this game. i was just walking around in uldah and checking some people's adventure plate out as it thought at the time those were pretty neet. at the time i couldnt even send tells so i didnt bother talking since talking in say was so public. Apparently i checked out multiple people of the same FC and one time some people of that fc ( and friends) ganged up on me and said some not so very nice stuff lets say that. Now my confidence has never really been the highest in general, but since that event even though it has been so long ago and i can actually send tells now. i still just dont do it because i dont want others to feel uncomfortable. now my friends because of which i started playing stopped playing it and it has been kind of lonely and just want some friends in game to play with again. but i just dont really dare to approach people and people never approach me.
Now my real question is: how can i safely approach people and talk to them without them feeling uncomfortable in any way, or preferably, how do i get people to approach me instead?
