No ‘Good Match!’ Until match end

I know I should let this slide, but it’s another way of the devs throwing a blanket on deficiencies created directly by them.

Saying ‘Good Match’ at the start of a Crystal match is a passive aggressive way of saying ‘Aah, we’re screwed, goodbye cruel world.’ This directly falls out of line with Yoshi’s plan for match/player positivity and his goal of perfect world pvp, where eeeeveryone is respectful, works so well together like on the jp servers (I’m assuming?)

But here’s the thing. You see, you devs have it set up so that 5 of us (and I’ve used this analogy before) are sailors shackled to a ship on verrry stormy waters. All our ankles chained to the mast. That means ALLLLL 5 of us gotta row like our stupid little LIVES depend on it. Was it ALWAYS like this? No. Before, just one or two of us could go Super Saiyan and CARRY everyone. But because you devs are soooooooo insistent on driving the ‘team’ aspect of pvp to the point it’s just stifling, the individual damage ceiling is capped. That means, if I hit every burst perfectly, soak up every hit for other team mates my body can endure, blow up every person at low Hp I can get my hands on, I’m STILL going underwater to the depths below. . .because I’m shackled with George Blowhard who for the last 5 matches has landed on my team who has no CLUE how to play his job but REFUSES to stop queueing, making it a 4 vs 5 match.

There’s also the fact certain jobs just have no synergy stacked against other jobs. When I see a rpr, brd, pct, and dnc against a drg, mch, blm, smn, Sam etc, I’ve been in enough fights to know typically that doesn’t end well. At the moment, 9/10 pcts have no CLUE what they’re doing. Reaper. . .needs help with its dps to get to max, and the above jobs aren’t known for racking up kills. And sure, I know, I’m supposed to think positive. But when George Blowhard lands on my team in that setup, I know I’m on borrowed time when that gate opens. Hence, ‘Good Match!’ A warning to my fellow crew mates that they’re about to realistically die horribly. But. . .

. . .you took that away now too.


. . .just like you took away chat.
Just like you took away crits.
Just like you took away auto attack
Just like you replace every spammable ability with a slower weapon skill
Just like you gave monk 6k fireballs. 6k fireballs.
Just like you ruined blackmage
Just like you took out gear bonuses
Just like you took away 24-man frontlines.
Just like you make NO effort to make a damage check/test before beginners enter matches to show they at LEAST grasp the fundamentals, the bare buttcheek basics.
